Whilst studying Garden Design with the English Gardening School, Chelsea I enrolled myself on a Floristry Level I course to increase my knowledge of plants and their uses. This course was so enjoyable and such a success that I decided to take Level II also. Discovering that floristry enabled me to combine my artistic talents and eye for colour with my love of flowers, textiles and embroidery, I worked with experienced florists in a retail environment for a year before deciding to go freelance at the beginning of 2008.
With customers now as far afield as New Zealand, Australia and South Africa I work from a purpose built studio at my home and run Country Garden Floristry alongside my garden work.
The Studio is not open to the public unless by prior arrangement.
